Manchester in World War 2 - The Blitz, Prisoner of War escapes, Doodle Bugs, ghosts and more. You will also learn where some of the scars and remnants of those raids can still be found in the city as Ian Sanders weaves together some well known and less well known tales of wartime Manchester. The MMHS presented this extra lecture in its annual programme to coincide with the 2014 Manchester Histories Festival.
